Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest child of Richard McCormick and Irene McCormick - was born in Woodland Hills in California on 5 August, 1956. That same year, she appeared in a second commercial for the doll of Mattel "Chatty Caty" and soon was cast at the La Jolla Playhouse to play her role as the youngest daughter in the new television sitcom, The Brady Bunch. McCormick in her memoir Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice published in 2008 revealed that, during the 5th season of the show, McCormick almost lost her love for her brother Barry Williams. She was 16 years old at the time; Barry was just 19. "It was possible," she said, "but it was not the time right the way it was for us."
