Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American singer and actress whose dramatic variety earned her acclaim across many genres from period drama to action and thriller. Johansson was born in New York City, and was raised by an father, an architect, and mother who produced. Hunter is the sister of Johansson was also born in the city of New York. When she was just seven years old, she began making auditions for TV commercials. To enhance her abilities, she studied at classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Manhattan followed by at the Professional Children's School. At age eight she appeared together with Ethan Hawke in the Off-Broadway production Sophistry when she was nine. At that age, she made her debut in film in Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson later appeared in Just Cause (1995), her debut occurred through Manny & Lo a coming of age film about sisters fleeing. In The Horse Whisperer, Johansson was a teenager who suffered an horrific crash. Her role in Ghost World brought her more fame as the outcast teen Rebecca. Renee Felice Smith started her professional career in entertainment from a very young age. When she was a kid, she discovered her passion for performing. Smith's parents supported her in finding her first stage role when she was just six. Smith was in a television commercial for Dannon yogurt. Similar to other novice actresses in her position the actress honed her talents in the theatre. Additionally, she was involved in various projects throughout the USA and Canada, but Wildflower was her first stage show. Her education was in the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
