The song is also referred to Mr. Capalot, or Polo Capalot the ace rapper who hails from Chicago Illinois, started gaining attention after he began releasing tracks on YouTube. His first track was The Come Up and never Cared. He made his SoundCloud debut with the official polo.g SOUND CLOUD. Gang With Me became his first top-ranked single. The track was followed by Finer Thing. While in prison, he composed Finer Things. It was his debut record and gained thousands of YouTube views and brought him to the forefront. Eventually, major record labels were interested in his work. Pop Out with Lil Tjay was the first single to be to be released under Columbia Records' distribution contract. The track received millions of views on YouTube and climbed to number 22 in the Billboard Hot 100 marking the first chart-topping song by the rapper. Polo G rose to fame for his work as a YouTube celebrity and earned some recognition through other platforms like Instagram as well as Twitter.
